Immersion Appoints Apple Senior VP to Board of Directors
SAN JOSE, Calif.—Oct. 15, 1999—Immersion Corporation, the leading provider of technologies that enable users to interact with computers using the sense of touch, today announced the appointment of Jon Rubinstein Senior VP of Hardware Engineering at Apple Computer to its Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Apple Computer Mr. Rubinstein was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Fire Power Systems and Vice President, Hardware and Hardware Engineering at NeXT Computer.
Mr. Rubinstein holds masters and bachelors degrees in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a master of science degree in computer science from Colorado State University. In addition to holding several patents, Mr. Rubinstein has been published in several computer industry publications. He is a senior member of IEEE Computing Society and a member of the Association of Computing Machinery.
